blurbs
Sometimes reading the content of a blog, whose content resonates with you, is highly refreshing.
And I forgot how nice that is. Also, I remember how that is now. Anyhow, I haven't used this much, but in light of certain things I want to.. or rather, want to write more. Not here, maybe, I think. I might go the Tumblr route, since blogspot is so 2005. Who knows.
Certainly though, there is nothing more precious in the world sometimes than to find those rare pockets of understanding, whether they are your own of others, vice versa, a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B, etc etc ..
.. but specifically it is nice to think that a little window into somebody else's world or head, on occasion, can reveal things personally significant to you. Yeah, it's nice.

weird dream
I want to record this before the details grow hazy.. unfortunately a large number of them already have, oh well. They're always most crisp when they're fresh.
It's a short dream out of the others from last night, significant only to me for the visuals.. I don't think I've dreamt that vividly in some time. Some friends of mine in the dream and I were out late apparently having a good time, and at some point we raised this massive.. air balloon/kite combination. I've had this dream before recently, I think it ended mostly the same way.
Yet the hot air balloon was massive and intricate beyond anything. For some reason it was a dragon, and it looked much like one would as they're drawn with the large wings raised up behind it in a menacing pose, the head angular, the arms and talons etc etc. The way it was designed in the dream would not have supported it in the air in real life, being that it did not surround the firejet at 180 degrees.. more like 90 with the other half being open air in front of the "dragon". Strings/ropes were tied off at the ends all along the wings and along the rest of the body, which gave it somewhat of a sensical design.. like an attempt to pull the dragon-balloon toward and around the source of its ability to fly, despite the obvious flaw.
However it looked impressive and had a vague purpleish glow with the fire and hot air in the middle. Like in the previous dream where this happened with these friends, we control the fuel-line for the flames from the ground (doubt this exists, but perhaps is possible?) and subsequently the massive, seemingly thousands on thousands of dollars worth of intricate air balloon above us. We give it a few bursts of flame to move it around or give it altitude, and then a burst catches the lining of the balloon. It catches fire.
It doesn't seem dangerous to us in the dream. Reality is suspended and so is the concept of a falling burning balloon in the middle of wherever it was we were.. perhaps a suburb, perhaps toward a field beside a residential area. I think it was in front of somebody's house on their lawn actually. The sight of it though, then the way the head's crest seemed to take up the fire, shine for a moment then burn bright was amazing to me. Afterward the rest of it began to go up in flames and again bizarrely it seemed plain and regular of it to fall and crash to the ground next to us like a meteor.
We casually handled the balled up balloon as it landed that way, instead of in a heap like it would, and dug dirt up to throw over and bury it to put out the flames. It crashed as a small meteorite might, entrenching part of itself into the ground, so a friend and myself simply put our shovels in on the front of it to dig that out and proceed to finish it.
It was a very strange dream. It doesn't make any sense, nor was it supposed to I think. Out of all the dreams everything seemed to real/vivid though.. like those rare nights when you wake up you know instantly it was all a dream, yet whatever happened felt engaging and very authentic with the level of detail involved.
I'll write more about more important things later. This is enough I think to put down for now.
